This lovely fellow was recently snapped in his element by intrepid wildlife photographer Heather. He is clearly enjoying many of the enlightening games, quizzes and informations on SquidSquid.com. A regular visitor I suspect. Human-squid relations have surely never been in a better state thanks to my tireless efforts to educate Cephalopod and Human alike.

Heather, it turns out, is more than just a talented nature photographer. She is in fact the author of some Squiddy poems and TV scripts that will simply blow your mind. BLOW. YOUR. MIND. Honestly, I don’t know if you are ready for them yet. Maybe soon, once you have finished feasting your eyes on the astounding Humbert Humboldt.

Oh yeah, now this is the business; a freshly colored Color Me Squid from Squidishy Squish. I’m told that the desk is mahogany, only the finest woods for this cephalopod.

I recently received a lovely email with this fantastic artwork, which I believe represents the artist’s inner squid. Although other interpretations are surely possible for such a complex and inspiring work.
